The school curriculum is designed to give every student the ability to:
Each child is unique, and our curriculum design takes note of it and adapts itself to the specific needs of a child. Our curriculum stands on a broad base of understanding a child’s psychological, emotional, intellectual and social needs. An attempt to nurture all these aspects is made at our school, at the same time helping develop cognitive and non-cognitive skills adequately.
We know that every person has a unique combination of interpersonal, linguistic, mathematical, musical, artistic, kinesthetic and naturalist ‘intelligences. Florence’s broad and balanced curriculum allows students to find, express and develop these intelligences equally in academic courses, in residential life and in enrichment experiences.
In keeping with this approach, our learning outcomes for the whole community are broad and challenging.
