Diwali Celebration

The festival of lights’ came alive at Florence International School on the 25th of October when the whole school wore a festive look with Diyas and lanterns adorning the corridors and the assembly hall in bright colours. The celebration commenced by lighting of Lamp by Chairman Sir with shaloka recitation & prayers were also offered to Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi which was flowed by skit where students of classes VI to VIII took a pledge to celebrate a cracker free green Diwali. It was a visual delight watching the pupils of Class IV & V act, sing and dance; in an effort to entertain a packed auditorium. The program was not only entertaining; but also highly informative. The students enjoyed the show with full fervour, unbounding enthusiasm and loud applause.
